What we collect

When you request the guide, we store your name, email, request date and source page. We record any optional marketing consent separately, including the wording version and date.

We use these details to fulfil your request and provide support, relying on legitimate interests. Optional marketing relies on your consent. The guide currently downloads on screen; no delivery or marketing emails are sent.

The feedback form does not ask for your name or email or save your message. When direct email is connected, your feedback goes to Awais through Resend. Until then, the form opens your email app so you can send it yourself. Your email provider handles the message.

Your choices

Updates are optional and the box starts unchecked. You can unsubscribe here. Reading articles and browsing jobs requires no form.

Where your data goes

OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide hosting and private database storage. They may process information outside the UK under their applicable transfer arrangements. Awais can access requests through protected owner controls.

Applications go directly to the advertiser. We do not collect CVs or payment details. Other sites have their own privacy notices.

Cookies and measurement

A necessary cookie lets this browser download the guide for 30 days. It contains a random code, not your name or email.

We count page actions and successful guide requests as daily totals, without visitor IDs or personal information. There are no advertising pixels or optional analytics cookies. A click count does not confirm a completed download.

Request protection uses hashed network addresses that expire after 24 hours and are cleared during housekeeping. Hosting providers also process connection information to run and secure the service.

How long we keep it

Guide-only contacts are deleted after 90 days. Optional-update contacts are reviewed after 12 months of inactivity. Minimal suppression hashes are kept while the service operates so opt-outs are honoured. Expired sessions and rate records are cleared routinely.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data; object to legitimate-interest processing; and withdraw consent. We may need to confirm your identity. You can also complain to the ICO.
